Unofficial campaignsEdit

There is an option to create a map with the SDK of Alien Swarm, this can be downloaded for free from the 'Tools' tab on Steam. This article will be used to display links to sites that allow for uploading and downloading of community content, as well as links to featured custom maps and unofficial campaigns. Most of these maps are still in beta stages.

Currently, these are the most interesting in-development custom campaigns that we have discovered on Swarm Armory, Steampowered, and elsewhere.

Unofficial campaignsEdit

Many of the campaigns in Black Cat Games' official 2K4 mod release were made by the community. Several community maps were released together as the Upsilon Campaign pack. Several mutators are availiable, like eg. the Custom Campaign mutator, allowing players to string together a series of maps into a campaign on-the-fly, via the vote menu.
